What the Lyndie picture doesn't describe is how the US foreign policy created a situation where children were kidnapped and held in AbuGraib, how MI, according witnesses, killed prisoners with impunity.
Convenient that the President declared, along with his immunity from future prosecution for war crimes, that terrorists (suspects included ) didn't fall within the jurisdiction of the Geneva Convention.
I think it was Gen. Curtis LeMay that said,"There's no such thing as an innocent civilian." Maybe the terrorists agreed with LeMay on that point.
this is wrong. everything about this situation is wrong. to mock it and say your penis is bigger than there's is a disgrace to everything america should represent.
Can anyone say "satire"? I mean really. It was a mistake putting those soldiers in the position where they were able to do these reprehensible actions. Their commanders should have been held to greater responsibility than they were. The commander is responsible for everything his/her unit does or fails to do. Yes, I am certain I read that somewhere.
